‘Trade Unions and Progress For LGBT People’ : Lecture by Kieran Rose on Saturday 26 April 2025 (11AM)

I am delighted to announce that I will be giving a talk on the impact of the trade union movement on the struggle for LGBTQ+ rights in Ireland at the Irish Labour History Society premises in Beggars Bush, Dublin at 11am on Saturday, 26 April.

It is based on his personal history of the 1980s campaign for LGBTQ+ rights that has been published by Fórsa. Further information on this publication here Organising for Equality: Then, now, and in the future. – Forsa.

This talk is preceding the Irish Labour History Society Annual General Meeting (for members only), though all are welcome to attend this free talk.

I look forward to seeing you there.

– Kieran
